๐Ÿ“Diego Bonetto on how to create experiences people will pay for

If you run an experience-based business (or want to introduce workshops or other in-peson experiences as a new income stream), this is for you.

In this episode of Making it Work, we sat down with wild food educator, artist, and long-time Rounded user Diego Bonetto.

Diego shared how heโ€™s turned a niche art project into 100+ workshops a year (many of which sell out weeks or months in advance).

Here's a small taste of what we covered:

  • Be generous: Diego built demand by โ€œoversharingโ€ his knowledge online. That free content now drives 75% of his bookings. While his format of choice was blogging, you can use any type of free content: email, videos, social media, etc.

  • Provide more than just knowledge: People often remember how they felt more than what they learned. Creating multi sensory, social experiences keeps customers coming back.

  • Keep evolving: Diego treats every workshop as a โ€œwork in progress,โ€ constantly refreshing jokes, activities, and the way workshops are delivered based on participant feedback.
