👀 Sneak peek: Invoicing upgrade

Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for some huge updates!

The way you create invoices will change a little – the editable version will look different to the preview / final.

Separating these two has allowed us to offer far more customisation options.

👉 Header graphics and new layouts

Add that extra touch to your quotes and invoices with new header layouts and graphics.

👉 More quantity types

Better describe your products or services with +40 new quantity types – including time, distance, volume, weight, and more.

Choose from lots of different quantity types

Quantity types will be manageable from the settings page.

You can select which types you need and reorder, so the most commonly used will be the default for new line items.

👉 Updated Stripe Checkout

We’ve improved the experience for clients paying via Stripe, with a more modern design and options for Apple and Google Pay.

👉 Improved UI consistency and accessibility

We’ve made lots of improvements to UI consistency and keyboard accessibility.

Those with many recurring invoices will appreciate the new table layout which makes managing recurring invoices significantly easier.

💡 Tip of the Month with Lauren Thiel, Accountant For Creatives

It’s worth chatting to your accountant before 30 June 2025 about bringing forward any bigger asset purchases.

Right now, the instant asset write-off threshold is $20,000 – so you can (in most cases) claim the full amount in your 2025 tax return.

But from 1 July 2025, that may drop to just $1,000 (subject to the results of the next federal election). This means you'll need to claim it over a few years using regular depreciation rules.
