It’s amazing what a beautiful office space does for productivity and your own attitude towards work. The bar for co-working spaces has been raised so high and offer so much value it’s no surprise freelancers and small companies are setting up shop in droves.

A few weeks ago we literally moved down the road to Wework’s new location in Pyrmont. It was definitely sad to leave Fishburners as the startup community there really is something special, though we’re growing and needed a little more room to stretch out.

For someone who’s spent much of their working life hunched over a laptop on a breakfast table coming into Wework was somewhat of a shock – the place is immaculate.  The building is a converted woolshed and I can’t imagine the cost in fitting this place out. Whoever was tasked with that challenge did a superb job.

Architecture aside, Wework are an impressive outfit boasting over 100 locations in 30 cities around the world and have been nothing but professional and helpful so far in getting us settled in. Of course the kitchen comes stocked with all the standard startup fluff like free beer on tap, endless supplies of coffee and breakfast gratis.  And no co-working space could look themselves in the mirror without a ping pong table.

If you find yourself in this neck of the woods please drop us a line, we’d love to grab a coffee and take you on a tour.
